The University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) International Gold Study Abroad program offers an unparalleled opportunity for undergraduates to explore the world and immerse themselves in different cultures. With over 65 programs in 28 countries, students can choose from a wide range of academic disciplines and cultural experiences.
Academic Excellence
UCSB’s International Gold programs are designed to provide students with rigorous academic coursework while fostering their global perspective. Students can earn UCSB credit while taking courses taught by local and international faculty. Programs typically include field trips, excursions, and cultural activities that enhance the learning experience.

Beyond the classroom, students on International Gold programs have the chance to fully immerse themselves in their host cultures. They live with local host families or in student housing, giving them firsthand exposure to the daily lives and customs of the people they meet.
