Royal Caribbean International’s Gold Status is an exclusive loyalty program that offers exclusive benefits and perks to its members. To qualify for Gold Status, members must earn 100,000 status points in a calendar year.
Once you achieve Gold Status, you will receive the following benefits:

* Guaranteed late check-out
* 10% bonus on all on-board purchases
* Complimentary room upgrades (subject to availability)
* Exclusive access to Gold-only events and promotions
In addition to the benefits listed above, Gold Status members can also earn additional perks by spending on Royal Caribbean cruises. For example, Gold Status members who spend $10,000 or more on Royal Caribbean cruises in a calendar year will receive the following additional benefits:
* Double points on all future cruises
* 15% bonus on all on-board purchases
* Priority dining reservations
* Complimentary access to the Concierge Club

How to Earn Gold Status
There are two ways to earn Gold Status:

* Spend $10,000 or more on Royal Caribbean cruises in a calendar year. This method is only available to members who have already achieved Crown & Anchor Society status.
How to Maintain Gold Status
Once you achieve Gold Status, you can maintain it by earning 50,000 status points in a calendar year. If you do not earn enough status points, you will be downgraded to Silver Status.
