Xu Xiaohu Elected as President of China International Gold Association
Mr. Xu Xiaohu, Chairman of the Board and President of China National Gold Group Corporation, has been elected as the new President of the China International Gold Association (CIGA). His election took place at the 9th CIGA Annual Conference, held in Beijing from September 22-23, 2022.
CIGA is a national industry association established in 2013 under the guidance of the China Gold Association. Its members include gold mining companies, gold processing enterprises, gold jewelry manufacturers, and other related institutions in China.
As the new President of CIGA, Mr. Xu Xiaohu will lead the association in promoting the development of the gold industry in China and enhancing international exchanges and cooperation. He will also work to strengthen the industry’s self-regulation and maintain the stability and healthy development of the gold market.
Mr. Xu Xiaohu has over 30 years of experience in the gold industry. He has held senior positions at various gold mining and processing companies, including China National Gold Group Corporation, Jinchuan Group, and Zijin Mining Group. He is also an active member of several international gold organizations and has made significant contributions to the development of the gold industry worldwide.
The election of Mr. Xu Xiaohu as President of CIGA reflects the recognition of his leadership and expertise in the gold industry.
