International Gold 0 Balloon
The International Gold 0 Balloon is a high-altitude research balloon that was launched by NASA in 1964. It was designed to study the composition and properties of the Earth’s atmosphere, and to measure cosmic rays. The balloon was the first of its kind to be launched from Antarctica, and it set a new world record for altitude at 135,000 feet.
