Fortnite’s International Gold XP Bonanza
Fortnite, the popular battle royale game, has introduced a new feature called “International Gold XP.” This feature allows players to earn bonus experience points (XP) during certain live events. The first such event was the Fortnite World Cup, held from July 26th to 28th, 2019.
Players who participated in the World Cup earned International Gold XP for every kill they made. The amount of XP awarded depended on the rarity of the weapon used to make the kill. For example, players received 50 Gold XP for a kill using a common weapon, 100 Gold XP for a kill using an uncommon weapon, and so on.
In addition to earning Gold XP during live events, players can also earn it by completing certain challenges. These challenges can be found in the “Challenges” tab of the game’s main menu. Some of the challenges that currently award Gold XP include:
* Deal 1000 damage to opponents with a shotgun
* Get 5 kills using an assault rifle
* Win a solo match
Players can use their earned Gold XP to purchase cosmetic items in the game’s store. These items include skins, back blings, and pickaxes. Some of the items that are available for purchase with Gold XP include:
* The Golden Touch skin
* The Midas Rex back bling
* The Golden Pickaxe
International Gold XP is a great way for players to earn cosmetic items and show off their skills. By participating in live events and completing challenges, players can quickly accumulate a large amount of Gold XP.
